Slovakian studio named MEJD has created a very new way to get your books organized with screwing them up.

The bookcase was born during the Summer workshop in Slovakia. The goal was to create hybrid that has 2 different types of objects. In this case, these are a bookbinding plough and metal sheet office rack.

The result to this was TWIST IT! It’s very handy object which upholds the theme of the book.

On the sidewalls of the case, there’s the aluminium bearings which joint with a wooden nut from the press. With turning the nut, the inner walls of bookcase can be moved and the space for any number of books is created without falling apart.
